We arrived at Tanjung Lipat at around 6 am. We learned about soft lighting, reflectors, and diffusers. These are some of the photos from the shoot.

Just bored taking random HDR pictures in Olde Kopitiam at warisan while drinking Ice Cham[a mix of coffee and tea].
This picture of a tree log was taken in Kuala Penyu. It's just one of those pictures that you notice only after you upload everything. I completely forgot about it so im putting it in a different post :)
This image is Tone Mapped with photomatix, its a little like HDR[High Dynamic Range]... but not really :p
Im not sure why but recently I have this tendency to check whether my pictures look good in black and white, hence the second picture being black and white. :p
I love how the tree seems to grow out into the sea. :)
This butterfly here landed on a white tile in front of my house and looking at it, I expected it to fly away but then it stayed there for quite a while so then, after a few moments of hesitation, I took a picture of it.
It immediately flew away after I took this picture.
I took this photo nearby a restaurant close to my uni. If you look closely you could make out the ants in the center of the photo :D
I think im starting to run out of photos to update my blog at the moment :( but no worries :D because this sunday im going to Kuala Penyu with MSJ Photography and im really hoping to get some great pics there.
I have been busy recently so I haven't been able to find time to update my blog. Although I did recently photograph a wedding of a friends' friends' relative [yeah I know, complicated] which I had the idea of posting here, I realised that I don't have the permission :S
So here's a picture I took of a bouquet of flowers from the wedding. xD
Today, after a great membership drive which saw alot of people joining the Unitar Photography Club, Alnissia had requested us to take a portrait shot of her, and with the results of the previous day[read previous post] still fresh in our minds, Ki Choy was again providing the flash and I was taking the pictures.
Props to Ki Choy for the great lighting xD
This is the best shot.
At one borneo (Starbucks), after printing out pictures to display for our photography club membership drive the following day, Me, my sister, Joanna, and Ki Choy were bored and suddenly we decided to take portraiture shots of Joanna.
It wasn't long before one of us [we don't really remember who] came up with the idea to use the pop up flash from another camera to create a sort of improvised remote speedlite [Flashgun]
if only we had a 580 EX II...
so anyways, Ki Choy used his camera to create the flash and I used mine obviously to take the shots. It took quite a few shots to manually synchronise the flash and the shutter on my camera. They turned out surprisingly good. :p
I have posted this event before which happened last year but by some accident 2 days ago, I noticed this sun halo when I was taking a random photo of a street which I would not have noticed even if I looked directly at the sky because it was really bright that day.
It makes me wonder if other people had noticed too. This image is actually 2 images stitched together to create a wider field of view because my lens, even at its 18mm [28.8mm equivalent because of the 1.6x crop factor] widest focal length, could not fit the entire circle.
I included the roof of this building to emphasize the sun halo.
