I had nothing better to do. These things taste so good. I took this picture and thought about making something like an ad.

I was bored so I blended this picture I took looking into a car side mirror with a picture of a nuclear explosion I found on google and added a reflection on the car window to add more realism; though im not sure if I did the reflection right ;p

Inspired by the TV show Heroes, I decided to try and blend fire and lightning effects with my picture in photoshop :) the fire was a downloaded brush, from www.brushes.obsidiandawn.com, the lightning effect was done by myself using a normal brush followed by various filters in photoshop.

A lollipop I bought this afternoon :)

A self-portrait of me.

Bokeh if you didn't already know is derived from Japanese, meaning blurred or fuzzy.
These images are blurred lights of street lights and car lights. This effect is caused when the image is taken when the subject is out of the focus range of the camera lens.

Another Sample 1/100 sec f/1.8 @ iso 400

Okay so I just got my first lens other than my kit lens and it just arrived in the mail today. Its the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 and it costs about rm299 [its the cheapest lens canon makes]. I havent got the chance to take too many photos but here's one of a chinese figurine in my living room at 1/25sec f/1.8 @ iso 100. Image quality is pretty sharp provided your hand be steady thoughout the exposure. The non-zoom aspect of the lens would mean that I could learn to take better compositions without relying on zoom and a whole new way to experiment with wide apertures :)

On our way to town my mum and I came across a van that had caught fire and was slowing down the traffic as drivers had to switch lanes. We drove by and I took some shots of it.
