In Solidarity with Everyone on Mount Kinabalu

Hello everyone, This coming 12th of June (Friday) will mark 7 days since we were literally shaken by the Kinabalu earthquake. 

Cracko Art Group, following the customs of our ancestors, will end the 7 days mourning period: In spirit of the traditional "momisok" ritual, we will erase the mural at the heritage building to symbolize the end of our 7 day mourn. We will commence at 12 noon, 12th of June 2015. Feel free to join in solidarity. 

By the will of Kinoiringan, on the 40th and also on the 100th day (according to traditional customs), we will produce murals to remember those who have gone before us and to honor the ones who have helped in every possible and impossible way. All murals will be up for 7 days. We don't have much to offer,in terms of money or things, so we offer our talents to this cause.

Wedding : Vui Ming & Zania

Congratulations to the newly wedded couple! 

These are a few photos from a wedding assignment a couple of weeks ago. Its always interesting to witness modern Chinese wedding rituals. The groom isn't allowed inside the house until certain acts are performed. In this instance, the groomsmen were asked to eat extremely spicy sandwiches and were then asked to drink a combination of unknown drinks. 

One particular groomsman was asked to perform the gangnam style dance before the family decided to let the groom in. The tea ceremony followed afterwards and continued on to the groom's house. It was a great experience and I hope to capture more of these in the future.
