Food for Thought

Just a little post away from work stuff. I have been very busy finishing up photos for wedding assignments and completely forgot to update. Will post more after they're finished. 

On another note, I have been having inspired dreams lately. Maybe its because of the lack of sleep but I might create a personal series based on it when I have the time.

Brass Monkey Cafe and Bar

Some photos from dinner at Brass Monkey Cafe & Bar just after Christmas. We had a great time there and the food was great as always. Another new addition to the place is the award for the best food outlet stand alone restaurant.

Looking Up

This is Mahira in the photo. I shot this in the Elusion restaurant at the Courtyard Hotel on the same day as this shoot. It is a really nice looking restaurant and the food was great. We were just checking out the restaurant as it seemed like a good place to hold our photography club annual dinner.

I have been busy again. I'm starting to think that people no longer believe me when I say this because I have been very slow with my assignment work and there has been a lot going on lately that I just feel too tired and simply unable to complete everything that I need to do on time. I hate short semesters.

Dim Sum

Shot these photos quite a while back while my family and I were having lunch at Hyatt Hotel . These were the only two dishes that I managed to shoot before I got really hungry.

I have way too many photos to post but I haven't been able to sort them out yet. I will try to keep up but the coming week will be an incredibly busy one for me with so many assignments due so close to each other.

Edit: I forgot to mention. I changed the blog layout so the widgets from the sidebar have been moved to other pages on the blog.

La Fuente

Some photos from our lunch at the Spanish Restaurant with my Mum, Sister, Ikhwan and Mahira at La Fuente in 1 Borneo on the same day as the previous post. The food was delicious! The Spanish tapas I tried were fantastic and the Beef Risotto is a must try.

If you are ever at 1 Borneo make sure you drop by to try out the food there.

Monkey Business

I had dinner at a restaurant called the Brass Monkey a few nights ago. It serves western cuisine and our dinner that night was delicious as usual. The owner, Raja also treated us to some baked scallops (second photo). We also took photos with a couple of gorilla masks that we spotted on the bar :D

Zuppa di Mare

I noticed that I rarely post photos of food so here's a dish that I ate downtown at a restaurant called Little Italy. This is an Italian seafood soup that comes with garlic bread and the option of adding spaghetti to turn this soup into a full meal.

On another note, I was completely exhausted today as I only got an hour or so of sleep. Add to that the futsal tryouts I went to with Ki Choy last night. We didn't get selected. It didn't come as a real shock because we were so unfit. The last time we played was probably in May. At least it was fun and I managed to score 2 goals :D

Northern India

I'm not sure what this thing really is but it pretty much looks like a large tea pot. I took this photo in a northern Indian restaurant named Kohinoor at the KK Waterfront.
