A few photos from the last two weeks at KL. There's many more to come soon :)
Okay so I went a little crazy and decided to add another photo to the Cityscape Disaster series. The older series was about natural disasters and this one is just... highly unlikely. It was heaps of work but hey, I would be lying if I said it wasn't fun to make. I learned a lot since I did the previous series but this took me a whopping 3 hours to finish. Most of the editing time was taken up by the little details added for realism.
Admittedly, it does not look consistent to the style of the previous series because I decided to retain more natural colors on this one. And sticking to the movie, I decided not to break tradition and added the excessive trademark lens flares. The background photo was taken at the Lintas highway.
Note: I haven't mentioned it but this semester's exams are over! It has been since Friday :D Interestingly, the Tsunami photo which is the first from the series, was also made right after my exam last year.
Here are the links to the previous posts from the Cityscape Disaster series.

Cityscape Disaster : Tornado
Cityscape Disaster : Meteor Strike

To be honest I really didn't know what to expect when I was on the way to Kasih Sayang Health Resort with Ki Choy, Ikhwan and Joanna. It was just a last minute decision to check out the place and I was the only one with a camera.
When we arrived, we were treated to a spectacular panoramic view of the whole of Kota Kinabalu from end to end. It felt strange to be able to see Tanjung Aru and One Borneo at the same time. The panorama I shot very much pales in comparison to the real view. You just have to be there to see it.

I couldn't resist. I just had to make a third one. This one was the toughest to create because of the meteor. It took about 2 hours to complete this. There's a second meteor behind the cloud by the way.
To be really honest, as I took all these pictures around town I wasn't really sure what exactly I was going to do with them, I just knew that I wanted to composite something.
I haven't been doing much this week. I miss having photo shoots. I miss playing futsal.

I decided that I kind of owe it to my blog to create a second disaster scenario ;) This one was pretty hard to figure out because I turned up with nothing after scouring the internet on how to create a realistic tornado scene.
Of course the photo isn't perfect (I still have a lot more to learn)
Exams are over!! :)
I had the idea for this photo for quite a while now and it's been ages since I last created something like this.
I always find it fun to
composite images because of the endless surrealistic scenes that I can create.
It took me a little over an hour to complete the photo. There are a few other processes that I have deliberately left out because they were too time consuming.
