SPCA KK photo shoot for adoptive pet owners

I was asked to take photos of the people who have adopted pets from the SPCA KK to show how well they have progressed. These are my favourite photos from the shoot. Its not a serious sort of shoot though, we just needed to get the photos of the pets and their owners.

I spent half the day going around the city taking pictures and listening to the stories behind the pets that were adopted.

Truly it is amazing to see how well cared for these pets were. A little compassion goes a long way for these fellas.

Walking Wounded

Recently there has been a lot of things going on around the house. First it was the Cat that was almost killed and now this monitor lizard was even lucky to be crawling out of the compound.

Just as we got home, Chester chased this lizard right until it crawled through the living room window. When we finally shooed the lizard out, Chester was the first to greet it outside the kitchen door. He sunk his teeth into the lizard and dropped it as it fought back. It scrambled away while blood was visible from the wound.

My sister chained Chester while I got the camera out to take some pictures of the lizard from the other side of the fence.

Decorations

These are photos of Christmas decorations that I took recently :)

This afternoon, I went around looking for Christmas decorations with my neighbor, Bernard and inspiration hit me like never before. The idea for the photo shoot is a big one, and expensive, well for me it is. Ideas were piling on and eventually turned to scrap as I thought about the cost.

Well, all is not lost, I think I can pull off one photo shoot without spending too much. :p
