Fading Bind

Its been ages since my last project so here it is! These were shot in a few places during my trip to the UK. I cant write too much at the moment as I am still busy editing wedding assignments. I haven't even had enough time to sort the photos from my trip but I hope to put them up here soon. I was going to post this on Halloween but I will be away so I hope you enjoy the photos!

Quiet Confidence

Another photo from the same shoot at Tanjung Aru. All of the lights were from the well positioned building spotlights. Didn't need to use a flash on this one.

Spent the past few days doing nothing but the combination of playing games and writing notes for my last exam paper this coming saturday.

Got addicted to Angry Birds all over again since I have it on my computer now :)

Dark Hallway

Me and my sister were at this building in town (I don't remember what its called) and we noticed this hallway which looked distressed and there were also howling winds from the outside so it seemed like a good time to snap some photos to show how the place felt like.

I added textures to the image for more effect. These were the best out of 20 shots in 10 minutes. We didn't have too much time so we went home.

D-Lighting on the Nikon S210

I took these pictures around the city with the Nikon S210. I was playing around with the D-Lighting feature.

Active D-Lighting is the name for the software program which automatically adjusts shadows, highlights, colours and therefore contrasts. It’s very good at adjusting dark shadows without adjusting the highlights so the dark parts of your picture become lighter.

Newer Nikon cameras now have this software built in. This is also sort a way of increasing the dynamic range of a photograph. These photos were taken from the inside of the car so any reflections in the photos are caused by the car window.

A Light In The Dark

Taken on the same night as the Lights Out post.
