Some photos from a recent photo session with Joanne
Happy New Year everyone! I didn't manage to capture any fireworks during the new year so I guess I'll just have to wait till Chinese New Year. Until then, here are some photos from a wedding assignment that Mahira and I were hired for just before Christmas.
I'd like to once again congratulate Farizah & Shamsul on their wedding! This was a very brief photo session after their solemnization. We didnt have much time as the sun was setting and the rain clouds made it even darker. We were happy with the few photos that we got before it started raining. Hope you guys enjoy the photos.

Me, Mahira and Nadine went on another photo shoot at Shangri-La's Tanjung Aru Resort. I was completely off my game because we arrived and started the shoot just before noon. It got too bright and hot very quickly so I stopped while Mahira continued.
These are some photos from a brief photo session at Equatorial Hotel, KL

I had this shoot with my cousin last Monday. It was the first time I could use my DIY Soft Box outdoors. The other people that were present were Joanna, My sister, and Francis (My Lighting assistant :D ) Mahira came a few hours later for a different shoot.
We shot these at the back of the Standard Chartered building. The weather was really good and the one hour we spent there flew by like a breeze. The two shots above are my favourites from the shoot.

Big thanks to Francis for helping on such short notice :)

And Happy Chinese New Year!!!
Gong Xi Fa Chai!

This was pretty much the first time I got to try my wireless flash trigger outside. I just took a few shots to see how it would be like. I simply set the flash to 1/2 power nearly 3 meters (I think) away from the subject. This wasn't a serious photo shoot because we didn't have much time when we were there.
I didn't use anything to diffuse the flash so the light was much too harsh for my liking. I actually shot this earlier this month. The next time I go out on a shoot I will be able to test the DIY soft box I made :D
